Fahri Karakaya is a professor of marketing at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He has a Ph. D. degree from Clemson University, and MBA from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  He has published over 100 papers.  Some of his publications appeared in Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Education, Journal of Strategic Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, and others. He is the co-author of three books titled “Barriers to Entry and Market Entry Decisions,” “How to Utilize New Information Technology in International Business,” “Utilizing New Information Technology in Teaching of International Business.” He currently serves on the editorial review boards of more than 10 journals and has been a guest editor for several journals. He is the founder and director of SE Massachusetts eCommerce Network, an economic outreach program at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
